                         Leader in me.

The Leader in Me is Franklin Covey’s whole school transformation process. It teaches 21st century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.

"Lider en mi", es un proceso de transformación de la escuela, creado por Franklin Covey.

Enseña a líderes en el siglo 21, desarrollando habilidades y generando autoestima basada en la idea de que todos los chicos pueden ser líderes.

                                            

Our  mission is to work together each day to learn, be a good friend and be a positive leader!

Nuestra misión es trabajar juntos cada día para aprender, ser un buen amigo y ser un líder positivo.

Making a cake./ Haciendo una torta.

                              The best leaders are always learning../ So, today it was time to learn how to make a cake. Alone we can do so little but together we can do so much.
                     Los mejores lideres están siempre aprendiendo...por eso, hoy, nos tocó aprender a hacer una torta. Solos podemos hacer pocas cosas, pero juntos podemos muchas mas.

 The teacher cleaned up all the mess.../ La maestra limpió todo el desorden...

Simon visited the school./ Simón visitó la escuela.

HABIT 2: BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND. / COMENZAR CON UN FIN EN MENTE.

                HAVE A PLAN/ TENER UN PLAN

One day, talking about pets, Bruno told us, that he has a ferret at home. He asked me if he could bring it to the class,  and of course we said: "YES!"

Simon arrived fearful that cold morning in a cage. The kids we anxious but we know that we couldn´t shout or talk all at the same time...

I took him out of the cage and he started playing and running. We watched him and  we talked about how  he was like.

When Simón got asleep we started making a writing about him 

/Un día, conversando sobre mascotas, Bruno nos contó, que tenía un hurón en su casa. Me preguntó si lo podía traer al colegio, y claro que le dijimos que "¡SI!". Simón llegó miedoso esa fría mañana en una caja. Los chicos estaban ansiosos, pero sabíamos que no podíamos gritar o hablar todos al mismo tiempo...

Lo saque de la caja y empezó a jugar y correr. Lo observamos y conversamos de su aspecto. 

Cuando Simón se durmió comenzamos a hacer una descripción sobre él.

After learning the ABC, we invited form 4A to join us on a spelling competition. We had a great time learning and playing together./ Luego de aprender el abecedario, invitamos a 4to A a realizar una competencia de deletreo. Pasamos un gran momento aprendiendo y jugando juntos.
